Acceptance of terms
By accessing the site, requesting a quote, or hiring a ready-made system, a custom project, or the partner program, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any condition, we recommend not using the services and contacting us to clarify any doubts before hiring.
Use of services and registration
When requesting a quote, hiring a ready-made system, or following up on a project, the user must provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information, keep their access credentials and passwords protected and confidential, and use the site's areas in a manner compatible with the purpose of the services. The user is responsible for all activity carried out under their login.
Proposals, scope, and deliverables
Deadlines, prices, features, revisions, support, and commercial conditions are defined in a proposal, a recorded conversation, a contract, or a specific product page. The approved scope is the reference for development; scope changes during the project may generate new deadlines and additional costs, always communicated before being applied.
Payment and commercial conditions
Prices, payment methods (upfront, installments, or by milestone), and due dates are defined in each project's proposal. Late payments may temporarily suspend development, delivery, or access to private areas, without prejudice to other applicable measures. Prices published publicly on the site are for reference only and may be adjusted according to each project's actual scope.
Deadlines and schedule
The estimated delivery time is stated in the proposal and may be affected by factors such as the client's delay in sending materials, approvals, or payments, integrations with third parties, or scope changes requested during development. In these cases, a new deadline will be agreed with the client.
Revisions and scope changes
Each proposal states the number of revision rounds included. Adjustments outside the originally approved scope, or requested after the included number of revisions, may be treated as an additional service, with a separate deadline and cost.
Ready-made systems and custom projects
Ready-made systems may have their own rules for licensing, subscription, customization, deployment, and support, described on the product page. Custom projects are developed according to the approved brief and stages agreed with the client, which may include payment milestones tied to each stage.
Intellectual property and license to use
- Source code, design, and other materials produced specifically for the client are licensed for the client's use after full payment of the agreed amount.
- Third-party components, libraries, fonts, icons, and tools used in the project remain under the licenses of their respective owners.
- Freelancer Studio may reuse technical knowledge, generic solutions, and non-exclusive components in other projects, provided they do not expose the client's confidential data.
- Unless otherwise agreed, Freelancer Studio may reference the delivered project (name, images of the final result, and type of solution) in its portfolio and promotional materials.
Cancellation and refunds
The client may request cancellation of a project at any time before a stage begins. Amounts related to stages already started or completed are non-refundable, as they correspond to work already performed. Stages not yet started may be cancelled and, when paid in advance, the corresponding amount is refunded or used as credit, as agreed with the team.
Content and client responsibilities
The client is responsible for materials, trademarks, texts, images, data, and permissions submitted for use in the project, guaranteeing that they hold the necessary rights over them. Freelancer Studio may refuse or remove content that is illegal, offensive, infringes third-party rights, or is incompatible with the operation of the service.
Warranty, support, and limitation of liability
Delivery includes an initial 30-day warranty for fixing defects related to what was developed, within the approved scope. This warranty does not cover content changes, new features, issues caused by third parties (hosting, domain, external plugins), or changes made by the client after delivery. Ongoing support can be hired separately. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Freelancer Studio is not liable for lost profits, data loss caused by third-party failures, or indirect damages arising from the use of the services.
Confidentiality and data protection
Strategic, technical, or commercial information exchanged during the project is treated as confidential and is not disclosed to third parties without authorization, except when required by law. Personal data processing follows the rules described in our Privacy Policy, prepared in accordance with Brazil's LGPD (General Data Protection Law).
Service availability
We work to keep our services stable, but scheduled maintenance, external integrations, hosting providers, and technical events beyond our control may temporarily affect the availability of the site or delivered systems. Support follows the channels and conditions agreed upon in each hiring.
Acceptable use
It is prohibited to use Freelancer Studio's services for illegal purposes, to host or distribute content that infringes third-party rights, to attempt unauthorized access to systems, other users' data, or the site's infrastructure, or for any activity that compromises the security and operation of the services.
Changes to these terms
These Terms of Use may be updated periodically to reflect changes in the services offered or in applicable law. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the services after an update implies agreement with the new terms.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of Manaus - AM, Brazil, are elected to resolve any disputes, unless otherwise provided in a specific contract signed between the parties.
