Who is the data controller

Freelancer Studio, a web development studio based in Manaus, Brazil, is the controller of the personal data processed through this site, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD - Law No. 13.709/2018). This policy applies to the entire site, including contact forms, the catalog, the partner area, and private project-tracking areas.

Data we may collect

We may receive name, e-mail, phone number, tax ID (CPF/CNPJ), address, briefing information, messages sent through support channels, registration data, payment data (processed by payment partners), files shared by the user themselves, and technical browsing data (such as IP address, device type, and pages visited) during hiring or project follow-up.

Legal basis for processing

  • Performance of a contract: to prepare proposals, execute hired projects, and provide support.
  • Consent: for optional cookies, non-essential communications, and other specific purposes for which we request your authorization.
  • Compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation: for tax, accounting, and information security matters.
  • Legitimate interest: for fraud prevention, site security, and service improvement, always respecting your rights and reasonable privacy expectations.

How we use the information

We use the data to respond to requests, prepare proposals, execute projects, grant access to private areas, provide support, process and record payments, comply with tax obligations, prevent fraud, and improve the experience of the services offered by Freelancer Studio.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you logged in and to support security, preferences, and the site's operation. With your consent, we may also use optional cookies for metrics, experience improvement, and traffic-source analysis. You can manage your optional cookie preference at any time through the cookie banner shown on the site.

Declining optional cookies

If you decline optional cookies, the site keeps working and we block optional metrics whenever possible. Declining does not make browsing private: technical logs, security data, and information you submit may still be processed under this policy.

Sharing of data

Information may be shared only with third parties necessary for the operation of the service, such as hosting and database providers, payment processors, communication tools, and security-analysis tools, and when required by legal obligation or a competent authority's order. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

International data transfer

Some of the providers we use for hosting and infrastructure may store or process data on servers located outside Brazil. In these cases, we require those providers to adopt protection standards compatible with the LGPD.

Security and retention

We maintain technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Data is stored for as long as necessary for service, contract performance, support, audits, compliance with legal obligations (including tax deadlines), and defense in potential proceedings, and is deleted or anonymized afterward.

Minors

Our services are intended for people over 18 years old or legal representatives of companies. We do not intentionally collect data from children or teenagers. If we identify this type of unintentional collection, the data will be deleted.

Your rights as a data subject (LGPD)

  • Confirmation of the existence of data processing.
  • Access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
  • Anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed in violation of the LGPD.
  • Portability of data to another service provider, upon express request.
  • Deletion of personal data processed based on your consent, except where retention is required by law.
  • Information about who we share your data with.
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time, when processing is based on it.
  • Review of automated decisions that affect your interests, where applicable.

How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of the rights above or to ask questions about how your data is processed, contact us through our contact page or the official Instagram listed in the site's footer. We respond to requests within a reasonable time and may request additional information to confirm your identity before fulfilling the request.
